We are currently seeking skilled groundskeepers to uphold the beauty and functionality of our premier senior independent and multifamily residential communities. Our senior independent living communities are not assisted living or nursing homes.

As a groundskeeper, your contributions are essential in providing a clean, safe, and inviting atmosphere. Your responsibilities extend beyond simple upkeep tasks and into the realm of ensuring our residents’ satisfaction and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean and maintain resident common areas, including the computer room, fitness center, community kitchen, hallways, restrooms, lobby, and property management office. Tasks include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, and disposal, as well as detailed cleaning of restrooms and ceiling vents. Conduct routine inspections and perform housekeeping/groundskeeping duties as needed, documenting all activities for record-keeping and transparency. Communicate proactively with management about any deficiencies or necessary repairs to ensure quick resolutions and minimal disruption. Distribute community notices with discretion, adhering to resident communication protocols. Although not anticipated; address and sanitize any biological spills (e.g., urine, feces, vomit) in common areas promptly and with sensitivity. Remove snow and spread salt during inclement weather. Ensure all building trash is properly disposed of in the compactor. Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, demonstrating a commitment to resident and staff welfare. Assist with furniture placement and clean apartment units in preparation for new move-ins. Clean and remove any trash or debris left behind after tenant move-outs. Essential job functions include:

Ability to handle tasks requiring physical exertion, including carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in pushing or pulling objects weighing approximately 200 pounds. Capability to remain standing and active, frequently maneuvering around the facility. Expertise in handling various maintenance equipment and tools, ensuring the facility’s pristine condition. Comfort and agility with frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling as part of routine maintenance activities.
