The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other green spaces are healthy and well-maintained. Duties Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris from walkways and driveways. Assist in groundskeeping activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties. Implement irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of plants and lawns. Supervise junior staff or team members during landscaping projects to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues such as pests or diseases affecting plants. Maintain equipment used in landscaping tasks, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition. Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand their landscaping needs and preferences. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Knowledge of tree care practices, including pruning and disease management. Familiarity with garden design principles and the ability to build and maintain various landscape features. Experience with lawn care techniques, including fertilization and pest control methods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
