Lawncare/Landscape Spray Technician Andy’s Landscape Services 3351 Morgan Dr, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216

Position Overview:

Provides service to residential customers by making timely lawn/shrub applications, diagnosing and correcting lawn/shrub problems through service calls and other customer communications.

Responsibilities:

• Applies fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Drives company vehicle to customer location.
• Responds in a timely manor to customers’ requests for telephone and in-person service calls.
• Completes required production forms and customer instructions.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment through cleanliness and safety.

Education and Experience Requirements:

At least one year of horticulture/turf treatment experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. OTPS certification preferred, but not necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management and organizational skills are a MUST, including punctuality for on-time attendance.
• Strong knowledge of turf and shrub types and varieties, along with the ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions
• Must have a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving history
