We are currently looking for a Maintenance Crew Member who loves to create something beautiful and that enjoys helping a landscape grow. The position pays $16 to $18 per hour depending on experience along with some other nice benefits, such as 401k and health insurance assistance. Job Responsibilities:

Caring for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks walls, and hardscapes. Applying herbicides or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees using hand or automatic sprayers, or spreaders. Mowing and edging lawns, using power mowers, and edgers. Planting bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and applying mulch for protection. Following planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers and foliage. Hauling or spreading topsoil, and spreading straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place. Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges. Gather and removal of leaves and debris from lawns to include blowing, raking, bagging, etc. Trimming and picking flowers and cleaning flower beds. Maintaining and repairing tools. Operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Manually operating hand tools such as shovels, rakes pruning saws, saws, hedge and bush trimmers, and axes.

Education:

High school graduation or GED equivalent required

Job Requirements:

1 or more years of experience completing all types of landscape maintenance work. Valid driver’s license

Bi-Weekly Schedule:
