The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks including mowing, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools to ensure that grounds are well-kept and inviting. Responsibilities Perform regular mowing and trimming of lawns to maintain a neat appearance. Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, weeding, and mulching. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Dig and build hardscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and decorative elements. Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure proper growth and health. Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening blades, and performing minor repairs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools. Experience Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape design, and hardscape construction is a plus. Ability to operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment. Experience using hand tools effectively for various tasks related to grounds upkeep.
