Full-Time We’re looking for a Groundskeeper to help keep Walnut Creek looking great. The role requires a keen eye for detail, adaptability to changing priorities, and a proactive approach to maintaining the property. It also involves working closely with the property management team to address community needs and ensure everything runs smoothly. Below is a list of tasks to be used as a guide and reference. There will be other tasks associated with this position that will be needed from time to time.

Daily Tasks:

Conduct trash clean-up across the RV park and amenity areas. Check trash bins daily and empty them as needed. Maintain grass around common areas and RV sections, including trees, posts, and utility connections. Keep the equipment and maintenance building neat and organized. Start the day with a team discussion to align on priorities and deadlines. Send daily progress photos to Denise and Eric. Vacant Homes-Lots need to be weed eat, and mowed and kept in orderly fashion.

As Needed Tasks:

Monitor resident lots, ensuring they are kept in order; assist when instructed by the property manager. Clear ditches and water lines of obstructions. Prepare and clean lots and homes when residents move out or vacate. Maintain the pond (stock levels, debris removal, and clean edges). Assist residents with RV hookups and maintain the septic area (cleanliness, leak checks, and gate security). Carry out additional tasks based on community needs. Clean up common areas and homes after storms/wind etc. Inclusive of repairing skirting on homes, picking up debris, removing limbs, trash etc. Make sure that areas are kept free of Holes, Divots caused by erosion. fill these holes and imperfections with dirt and other materials as needed.

Monthly Tasks:

Basic maintenance on equipment (like oil changes) Turn in a materials/supplies report Spray gravel areas to keep weeds down Weed-eat around lots, the dog park, bathrooms, playground, laundry room, etc. Smooth out the roads as best as possible using the equipment we’ve got.
