Landscape Floriculture Team Member Team Member Job Description:

Work efficiently and perform duties such as prepare and plant seasonal color beds. Perform dead-heading and pruning maintenance on seasonal color plants. Long periods of standing/bending over and stretching during planting and maintaining of seasonal color flowers. Assist Team Leader and other Crew Members in completing daily planting and maintaining seasonal color flowers. Maintain our Standards of Excellence on our clients’ properties. Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and vehicles. Arrive to work on time and ready to contribute to the crew’s success by following all instructions and safety guidelines. Must remain alert and safety conscious as many work sites are high traffic areas. Fast paced work environment.

Team Member Skills/Qualifications:

2 year experience working on commercial landscape maintenance crews. General understanding of landscape maintenance techniques of seasonal color flowers. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and working in adverse (hot, cold, wet) conditions. This position reports on site to our location in Pelham, AL. This position will report and work under the direction of the Floriculture manager on various job sites throughout the Birmingham area. Typical hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Thursday. These are adjusted based on the time of the year and scheduling of jobs. Valid driver’s license is required. Driving Record will be checked, a clean Driving Record is required. Candidate must have a personal vehicle; reliable transportation is required. It is required that all Team Members must undergo a Full Drug Screen and Criminal Background Checks in accordance with local laws and regulations.
