Landscape Technician In the Roots LLC Chelsea, AL 35043 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their landscaping needs are met with professionalism and care. Duties Perform tree & shrub trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees & shrubs. Execute landscape design plans, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilization, and weed control. Conduct regular groundskeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces. Monitor plant health and provide necessary care to promote growth. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards. Skills Proficient in trimming techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Knowledgeable in garden care, including planting, watering, and pest management. Experienced in operating power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers. Strong ability to maintain equipment and tools for optimal performance. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
