ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a skilled position involving all phases of grounds work; emphasis may be in a particular area such as plants, turf, or equipment. Supervision is not required while performing tasks.

You will play a vital role to ensure that AIDB’s campuses are kept to a presentable standard. You will thrive in a self-driven environment and work equally well with both management and team members.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
: Must possess a valid State of Alabama Drivers License and be able to be insured by the AIDB insurance carrier. Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must have physical ability to perform assigned duties. Must have general knowledge of grounds maintenance. Must have landscaping skills. Must be able to work unsupervised on assigned tasks. AIDB PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Training and/or two years of related work experience. Experience in operating all sizes of equipment.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
: Routine tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Operating weed-eater Operating push mowers Operating a light tractor Operating heavy equipment Planting shrubs and trees Pruning Moving furniture, etc. Other duties related to grounds-keeping Maintains all the grounds for AIDB in a professional manner. Performs other duties as assigned.

$ 15.25 – $17.89 C5 Rank 31 260 days Direct deposit is required; bi-monthly payroll This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
