Hire Key Responsibilities:

Clean windows, walls, floors, stairwells, and other areas as needed. Perform outdoor maintenance tasks like snow removal, mowing, raking, planting, fertilizing, watering, and trimming vegetation. Maintain grounds by picking up trash, emptying outdoor trash cans, sweeping/blowing walks, curbs, and parking lots. Report issues or hazards to the Maintenance team promptly. Assist in minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing smoke detectors, light fixtures, thermostats, electrical switches, and outlets. Clean vacant units and perform minor repairs that do not require a skilled tradesman. Perform custodial duties including sweeping and cleaning buildings, hallways, offices, stairways, and windows. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and sills. Assist skilled trade employees with repair and renovation tasks. Cut grass, reseed lawns, and shovel/remove snow from paved areas. Load trucks with dirt and salt for spreading over paved areas. Remove graffiti, debris, and garbage from buildings and grounds. Ensure equipment is secured when not in use. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work extended hours as required. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs (including cleaning equipment such as backpack vacuums and blowers). Occasional lifting or moving of over 100 lbs. Ability to use necessary tools and equipment. Work in a variety of environments, including outdoor work in all weather conditions, as well as indoor work in apartments, public spaces, and mechanical areas. Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration.
