Quinn Landscape Contracting LLC, a premiere landscape contracting firm, specializing in landscape maintenance, design and construction located in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking to fill a Landscape Foreman position.

Position Summary:

Manage and direct specific designated routes or installations assigned by Supervisor. Provide support, leadership, supervision and training for field personnel, while maintaining the highest efficiency, safety, and production standards possible. Effectively communicate in a manner to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed. Develop, maintain and service all work responsibilities in the most efficient and professional manner enforcing company standards for Quality, Safety and Performance. Promote a team environment and strong morale, with an effort towards avoiding any form of conflict.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage up to 3 -5 Crew Members at once and provide support and direction while being accountable for their production and quality standards. Responsible for training Crew Members on technical skills and general field operational procedures. Report information from all field meetings to Crew Members. Assist in implementing the clearly defined safety and training programs. Assist Supervisor with job information feedback needed for Dispatching and scheduling. Responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of all tools and equipment assigned to both the Forman and workers under their supervision. Position Requirements – Knowledge, Skill & Abilities Must have a valid US Driver’s License Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees in a team environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality. Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency. Ability to resolve conflict and problems appropriately and in an effective manner. Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in landscape maintenance. Must be flexible and work around inclement weather. Able to work weekends when needed.
