The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties through effective landscape management practices. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools for various landscaping tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Dig, plant, and care for gardens, trees, and shrubs to promote healthy growth. Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as necessary. Assist in snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and basic mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of garden maintenance practices and principles. Proficiency in using power tools and machinery safely and effectively. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for maintaining equipment functionality. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
