This includes planting shrubbery, trees, flowers, and sod according to an ornamental landscape design; utilizing various tools and equipment to maintain the grounds; maintaining the irrigation system; and applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Degree• Two Years of landscape or grounds management experience• Experience with landscape design, irrigation systems/applicator equipment and processes, disease and insect identification and prevention Effective communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as work independently Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in horticulture Valid Florida spray license •An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of education/experience requirements
