This role requires a passion for gardening and landscaping, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in various aspects of horticulture, including plant care, lawn care, and floral design. Duties Manage daily operations of the garden center, including inventory management and stock replenishment. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their gardening needs and inquiries. Train and supervise staff to ensure high standards of service and product knowledge. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase retail sales within the garden center. Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout to enhance customer experience. Oversee the care of plants, flowers, and landscaping materials to ensure quality products are available for customers. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality plants and gardening supplies. Organize workshops or events to engage the community in gardening activities. Skills Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and staff effectively. Proficient in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging with diverse customers. Knowledge of floral design principles to assist customers with arrangements and selections. Experience in lawn care practices to provide expert advice on maintenance and products. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients. Retail sales experience to drive sales initiatives within the garden center. Ability to work collaboratively with a team while also being self-motivated.
