The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Technician will work closely with our property management team to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in tree care, including pruning, planting, and fertilizing as needed. Irrigate landscapes to ensure proper hydration of plants and lawns. Maintain hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and well-organized. Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design plans accurately. Monitor plant health and report any issues related to pests or diseases. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including fertilization. Familiarity with both hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes) and power tools (e.g., blowers, trimmers). Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
