This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of various landscapes, including residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong mechanical knowledge, and experience in various landscaping tasks. Duties Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and fertilization to ensure healthy grass growth. Execute groundskeeping tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs. Irrigate landscapes effectively to maintain optimal moisture levels for plants. Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary. Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge related to landscape maintenance equipment. Experience in mowing, lawn care, groundskeeping, tree care, and hardscape installation is preferred. Ability to operate irrigation systems effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation of equipment between job sites.
