Grounds Maintenance Worker Shewmaker Animal Hospital 1095 North State Road 29, LaBelle, FL 33935 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and tree care, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and inviting. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass. Engage in landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, and mulching to enhance the beauty of gardens. Operate power tools and equipment safely for tasks such as digging, trimming, and irrigation installation. Build and maintain garden structures such as fences or raised beds as needed. Ensure proper irrigation of plants through installation and maintenance of irrigation systems. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. pressure wash sidewalks, exterior walls, and surfaces Assist with other maintenance task around the property Experience Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required.
