Golf Maintenance Hernando Oaks Golf Club 5230 Delacroix Drive, Brooksville, FL 34604 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess the ability to work with various hand and power tools. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful and functional outdoor spaces. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks on landscapes, including mowing, trimming, and edging. Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure healthy plant growth. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching. Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris and litter. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as needed. Monitor the health of plants and lawns, reporting any issues to management. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes) and power tools (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers). Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. Ability to irrigate effectively to promote healthy growth in gardens and lawns. Experience in lawn care techniques, including fertilization and pest control. Familiarity with groundskeeping responsibilities to maintain aesthetic appeal. A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of landscape presentation.
