Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our building and outdoor areas safe, clean, and fully functional. You’ll handle a variety of maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and general repairs. Key Responsibilities 1. Electrical Maintenance Inspect and maintain electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair lighting, outlets, and wiring. Install and maintain electrical fixtures and appliances. 2. Plumbing Maintenance Check and maintain pipes, faucets, and fixtures. Fix leaks, clogs, and plumbing issues. Replace or upgrade plumbing components as needed. 3. Yard & Outdoor Maintenance Mow lawns, trim bushes, and maintain flower beds. Keep outdoor areas clean and safe, including walkways and parking lots. 4. General Building Maintenance Inspect facilities and equipment regularly. Respond to repair requests and emergency issues. Perform basic carpentry, painting, and HVAC repairs. 5. Reporting & Recordkeeping Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Report safety hazards and suggest improvements. Help develop maintenance schedules and plan equipment upgrades. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role. Skilled in electrical and plumbing systems. Familiar with basic landscaping and yard care. Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Able to work independently and stay organized. Good communication and people skills. Basic computer skills for logging work and reports. Physical Requirements Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
