This role supports government and commercial landscaping contracts, and relevant experience is required.

Position Summary:

As a Groundsman, you will work alongside tree crews and landscaping teams to perform property maintenance, assist in tree trimming operations, and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. You’ll support field operations for government-maintained properties such as parks, schools, roadsides, and public buildings.

Responsibilities:

Assist in ground-level tree trimming, cutting, hauling, and chipping operations Maintain clean and safe job sites by clearing brush and debris Load and unload tools and equipment at job locations Use hand tools, blowers, and small power equipment (chainsaws, trimmers, etc.) Support crews during tree planting, mulching, and sod installation projects Follow all company and OSHA safety standards at all times Communicate clearly with team leads and follow instructions efficiently

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years of professional experience in landscaping, tree service, or grounds maintenance Prior experience on government or municipal contract sites preferred Ability to lift 50-75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather Must pass a background check and drug test Dependable transportation to and from job sites Must be punctual, safety-minded , and a team player Preferred Skills (Not Required): Experience operating wood chippers, skid steers, stump grinders CDL license or experience with trailer hauling Familiarity with Florida native plants and trees Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation & Work Details:

Full-time (Monday-Friday) | 40 hours/week guaranteed Opportunities for overtime and advancement Long-term government contracts with consistent work
