Golf Course Maintenance Summary:

Assist in golf course turf maintenance, course set- up, irrigation, operate golf course equipment and hand tools.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist with preparing the course for daily play.
• Rake the bunkers. Cut, edge and trim golf course greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Assist with watering the roughs.
• Applies growth enhancers and disease inhibitors to greens and tees.
• Participates in daily setup for play.
• Cuts weeds and brush, around course.
• Tree trimming duties. Weed eating, edging.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all golf course equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials used for the golf course.
• Continuously Lifting up to 25 pounds, carrying up to 25-50 pounds, Visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work projects outdoors in various weather conditions including bright sun. Must be able to see details and use visual acuity in operating equipment.
• Environmental Condition Continuously working in hot/heat conditions outside. Frequently working with chemicals. Frequently working with sharp objects/tools. Frequently working with heavy machinery.
• Previous work on a golf course preferred, but not required.
• This position reports to the Golf Course Maintenance Superintendent.
