Groundskeeper/Maintenance 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 4688 Elevation Way, Fort Myers, FL 33905 We are looking for an energetic Maintenance/Groundskeeper to keep a private property’s grounds. The groundskeeper portion of the job will include maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, stair paths, retaining walls and turf. The maintenance portion of the job will include basic property maintenance including minor electrical work, plumbing, pressure washing and swimming pool maintenance. All tools will be supplied and maintenance staff are expected to maintain tools orderly and in working condition.
Flexible hours:
20 to 32 hours per week. Benefits package will apply after a vesting period. • Background check is required•
Groundskeeper Responsibilities:
Maintaining site landscaping across approximately 2 acres. Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation. Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers and shrubs, and spreading mulch. Trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds. Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as loppers, saws and shovels efficiently. Operating and maintaining trucks and power tools. Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash receptacles. Conducting basic irrigation audits and performing basic irrigation repairs.
Maintenance Responsibilities:

Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. 1+ years of groundskeeping or related experience. Valid driver’s license. Proficient in using manual and power tools safely. Free from allergies that interfere with Groundskeeper duties. Ability to follow instructions. Physically agile and dexterous.
