Landscaping labor Shape up.inc Lehigh Acres, FL 33970 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of various landscapes, including gardens, lawns, and other green spaces. The Landscape Technician will utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to maintain a neat appearance. Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing plants and shrubs. Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper soil health and plant selection for optimal growth. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage across landscapes. Operate power tools and equipment safely, including blowers, trimmers, and lawnmowers. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time while meeting quality expectations. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping tasks. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including aeration, overseeding, and pest management. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation between job sites.
