Maintenance/Groundskeeper 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 275 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 Job Summary The Pink Shell Resort & Marina is seeking a Maintenance Groundskeeper to join our engineering team. The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. This position involves performing various landscaping and maintenance tasks to ensure that grounds are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess a strong attention to detail. Duties Cuts and trims all lawn and grass areas Trims, fertilizes, treats and decorates all shrubs, trees and plants Purchases, plants, treats and maintains flowers Ensures parking lot and grounds are free of debris Operates irrigation systems Waters all non-irrigated planting areas Feeds, waters and maintains all interior plants Paints ground related fixtures, curbs and finishes Treats, maintains and aerates all lawn and grass areas Maintains and orders inventory of outdoor supplies Repairs and maintains all ground related power equipment Performs all other duties as assigned Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to groundskeeping tasks. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care practices. Ability to irrigate effectively to promote healthy plant growth. Strong understanding of gardening principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks performed. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
