Grounds Maintenance Technician Palmetto Mobile Home Club Inc 1201 8th Avenue West, Palmetto, FL 34221 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position is essential in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for all users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong work ethic, with the ability to perform various tasks related to grounds upkeep. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Conduct snow plowing and removal during winter months to maintain safe access. Execute tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety. Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dispose of debris appropriately. Skills Proficiency in using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and saws. Experience in landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, and mulching. Knowledge of hardscape installation methods and materials. Ability to perform snow plowing tasks safely and efficiently. Strong skills in tree trimming and general horticultural practices. Capability to build structures or features as needed for landscaping projects. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
