Landscape Tech 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 8445 SW 80th Street, Ocala, FL 34481 The SLM Maintenace Landscape Technician is responsible for providing full service residential lawn care, including mowing, landscape bed maintenance, and irrigation repair as a matter of routine work. Responsibilities:
Trims hedges, cuts grass, picks weeds and uses other landscape maintenance equipment Plants vegetation when necessary, removes dying plants, checks and repairs irrigation systems and reports problems to management Communicates effectively with clients and maintains a professional appearance at all times Reads labels and sets irrigation controllers for time changes or otherwise needed Ensures proper use Personal Protective Equipment and stays focused and engaged Maintains a high level of community mindedness May communicate with clientele and relays information to management when needed Performs all duties in adherence to Company standards Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation preferred Ability to obtain GI-BMP preferred Must be able to read, write and understand English and follow written and oral instructions Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred Ability to read, understand and apply chemical labels and restrictions General knowledge of all landscape maintenance equipment
Skills and Knowledge:
