Landscaping helper Posey Landscaping Summerfield, FL 34491 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and design. This role involves performing various tasks related to groundskeeping, including mowing, tree care, irrigation, and hardscape installation. The Landscape Technician will contribute to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. Duties Operate hand tools and machinery for landscape maintenance, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining flower beds. Build and install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure healthy plant growth. Provide tree care services including tree trimming and pruning to maintain safety and aesthetics. Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge. Ensure all work is performed safely while adhering to company policies and procedures. Requirements Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency with hand tools and landscaping equipment is essential. Knowledge of mowing techniques, tree care practices, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation is highly valued.
