Essential Functions:

Regular mowing of approximately 20 acres (mower provided at farm). Sharpen and change out mower blades Weed eating and spraying of weeds along internal and external fence lines as well as beds and other areas. Watering of small potted plants. Maintenance of small vegetable garden Any other duties having to do with maintaining the landscape of the farm. Pruning and trim backs of hedges, plants and small trees Small handyman-type repairs Fence board repairs

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

•Ability to use a Hustler X-one zero turn mower or comparable machine. Ability to work around large animals. .Reliable, dependable, positive attitude as well as the ability, once given duties, to fulfill them in a self motivated fashion. Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure a neat appearance. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and weeding. Utilize hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and hoes for various landscaping tasks. Operate power tools like leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and lawn mowers safely and efficiently. Ensure all grounds are free from debris and hazards to maintain safety standards. Ability to operate both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics in the landscape.
