Landscape Irrigation Technician Three Lakes Golf Club
LLC DBA APOGEE 3535 SW
Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL 34997 APOGEE is currently in the construction phase of three, 18-hole golf courses, two short courses, a Himalayas-style putting green & two driving ranges over 1200 acres. The club is also in the process of constructing 2 clubhouses, cottages, spa/fitness center & will also have fishing, tennis, walking trails & pickleball. We are seeking a skilled irrigation professional experienced in managing complex hydraulic and automated control systems to ensure consistent turf health, playability, and water conservation across fairways, greens, tees, and roughs. Works closely with the Landscape superintendent and grounds crew to maintain ideal moisture levels and system efficiency in all weather and seasonal conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Operate irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water. 2. Repair the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as needed. 3. Complete requests for irrigation and course parts and supplies. 4. Grade and prepare soil base, lay sod, and seed and water greens, tees, and fairways. 5. Ability to operate equipment safely and properly. 6. Operate dump trucks and other light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris. 7. Promptly report any equipment issues. 8. Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety rules and wearing appropriate safety equipment including safety helmets, ear protection, and non-skid shoes. 9. Occasionally supervise a small labor force for special projects, and perform other duties as directed by supervisor. Qualifications & Experience required:
- Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in landscape or golf course irrigation installation, maintenance, or repair.
- Ability to perform outdoor work year-round, with possible extreme temperature variations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
