Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL 34997 APOGEE is currently in the construction phase of three, 18-hole golf courses, two short courses, a Himalayas-style putting green & two driving ranges over 1200 acres. The club is also in the process of constructing 2 clubhouses, cottages, spa/fitness center & will also have fishing, tennis, walking trails & pickleball. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Technician to join our growing Landscape team. The Spray/ Application technician is responsible for accurately and safely applying pesticides and fertilizers. May be required to assist with general Landscape duties as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: 1. Accurately apply pesticides and fertilizers following established guidelines and procedures. 2. Adhere to all safety warnings and personal protective equipment requirements specified on pesticide labels. 3. Apply granular fertility and control products with tractor mounted application equipment & operate other turf management equipment as required. 4. Communicate effectively with the Landscape Superintendent, and other team members regarding pesticide application plans and schedules. 5. Respond promptly to any pesticide-related inquiries or concerns raised by Landscape staff or management. 6. Assist with other general Landscape tasks as needed, including mowing, and equipment operation. 7. Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure proper functionality. 8. Keep accurate records of pesticide application activities, including dates, times, types of pesticides used, and quantities. 9. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices related to pesticide application in the landscape industry. 10. Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing pesticide use and disposal. Qualifications & Experience required:
- Licensed pesticide applicator (state-specific certification).
- Strong background in the application of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers for turf, ornamentals, and landscape plantings.
- Ability to perform outdoor work year-round, with possible extreme temperature variations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
