Golf Course Maintenance Indian Bayou Golf Club 1 Country Club Drive East, Destin, FL 32541 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and ensuring the landscape is well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a hands-on approach to various maintenance tasks, including landscape care, course preparation and the use of both hand and power tools. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance of golf course and landscaped areas, ensuring they are healthy and visually appealing. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Conduct lawn care activities, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing. Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to maintain optimal growth conditions. Assist in landscape maintenance projects, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Monitor the condition of grounds and report any issues that require attention or repair. Ensure all maintenance equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Skills Proficient in landscape maintenance practices. Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and shears. Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping tasks. Abililty and willingness to learn and consistently perform golf course – specific tasks for conditioning and preparation Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
