This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscaping. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetics and health of gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. Duties Perform mowing of lawns and turf areas to maintain an even and healthy appearance. Execute tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal as needed. Conduct groundskeeping tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Build landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, or pathways as directed. Manage snow plowing duties during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to ensure all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Requirements Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is Required Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to landscaping tasks. Knowledge of plant care, garden maintenance, and landscape design principles is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
