The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that properties are well-kept and visually appealing. As a Landscape Laborer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic quality of our clients’ outdoor spaces. Duties Perform lawn care activities including Installing plants, trees and shrubs. Conduct general landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs. Assist in groundskeeping duties including raking leaves and cleaning debris from walkways and gardens. Utilize hand tools effectively for digging, planting, and maintaining garden beds. Provide tree care services which may include pruning, trimming, and planting new trees. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet client expectations. Skills Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Experience with snow plowing is advantageous during winter months. Strong ability to maintain gardens through planting, weeding, and watering. Knowledge of groundskeeping principles to ensure clean and attractive outdoor spaces. Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping such as shovels, rakes, and pruners. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is preferred. Ability to dig effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Strong physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
