This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, tree care, lawn care, and more. The Landscape Laborer will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Must be legal worker Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Assist in tree care activities such as planting, pruning, and removal of trees as needed. Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration and plant health. Build landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, or pathways as directed. Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain clear access for properties. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly store tools and equipment after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care techniques and tree care methods. Mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping equipment effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws. Ability to irrigate landscapes efficiently while understanding water conservation principles. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
