PART TIME CONTRACT
– $15.00/HOUR
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position supports the overall upkeep and maintenance practices needed for all playing surface and outdoor spaces at TD Ballpark. These spaces include playing fields, batting cages, exterior bathrooms, outdoor baseball spaces, landscape beds, and all common areas TD Ballpark.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General field maintenance. i.e. dragging, mowing, packing, trash removal In-game infield drag Cleaning of dugouts Pulling tarp as needed Setting up field for batting practice and infield work on non-game days
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays. Requires lifting of heavy equipment and materials (over 50lbs) and manual labor (raking, shoveling, tarp pulls) Willing to work outside in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time Must have strong communication skills, able to verbally communicate at a level that ensures productivity and quality of work. Ability to be productive in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing schedules and environmental conditions. Strong ability to work well with co-workers, coaches, players in a team environment.
