The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds, ensuring that all landscaping and outdoor areas are well-maintained and visually appealing. This role requires a hands-on approach to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general groundskeeping tasks. Golf Course Maintenance Crew. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, general maintenance duties. Requirements may include, able to operate fairway mowers, greens mowers, rough mowers, cut cups, rake bunkers, and general golf course work. Military veterans and first responders preferred. We are owned by Jan Stephenson’s Crossroads Foundation, a 501 C 3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to veteran’s and first responders. Duties Perform regular lawn care including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass and plants. Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and mulching. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks including edging, aerating, and planting. Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed to ensure proper hydration of plants. Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Assist with seasonal landscaping projects such as planting new flowers or installing decorative features. Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas by removing debris and trash regularly. Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Requirements Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools related to gardening and groundskeeping tasks. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation between job sites if necessary.
