Groundskeeper St. Petersburg Country Club 2000 Country Club Way South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33712 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general groundskeeping duties. The Groundskeeper will work closely with other team members to ensure that all areas are well-kept and inviting. Duties Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Care for gardens by planting, watering, fertilizing, and weeding as necessary. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Monitor the health of plants and lawns, addressing any issues such as pests or diseases promptly. Clear debris from walkways, flower beds, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as needed. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling chemicals. Qualifications Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant care practices is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics in outdoor spaces. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
