This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. Duties Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to ensure a neat appearance. Execute tree trimming and care to promote healthy growth and safety. Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Utilize power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Conduct regular landscape maintenance including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. Assist with hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain equipment in good working order through regular cleaning and minor repairs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Familiarity with power tools and landscaping techniques is essential. Knowledge of tree care practices is a plus. Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
