Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Equipment Operator to join our golf course maintenance team. This position is responsible for operating a variety of turf equipment to maintain the golf course’s playing surfaces to the highest standards, contributing directly to the quality and appearance of the course.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate riding and walking mowers to cut greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas. Use utility vehicles, tractors, aerators, blowers, and other maintenance equipment as needed. Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment (e.g., checking oil, tire pressure, fuel levels). Maintain bunkers, water features, and course landscaping as assigned. Follow established mowing patterns and course maintenance schedules. Assist with course setup duties such as moving tee markers, changing cups, and setting up hazards. Report any equipment issues or course conditions to supervisors immediately. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all equipment operation.

Qualifications:

Prior experience operating mowers or similar turf equipment preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Basic knowledge of golf course layout and etiquette is a plus. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Reliable transportation and punctuality are required. Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
