Irrigation and Landscape Technician Williams Greenspaces Saint Johns, FL 32259 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and a passion for ensuring that the properties of commercial clients thrive through effective irrigation systems. This role involves hands-on work with various tools and equipment to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems in residential and commercial landscapes. Duties Run wet checks of irrigation systems for our commercial landscape properties. Assistant in mapping of irrigation systems for our valued customers. Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and lawns. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. Utilize power tools and hand tools to dig trenches, install piping, and set up sprinkler systems. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape designs. Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to promote water conservation. Provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements based on landscape needs and water efficiency practices. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to the installation and repair of irrigation systems. Experience in landscape maintenance, including lawn care practices and garden management. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to dig trenches and perform physical tasks associated with irrigation installation. Familiarity with various irrigation methods, including drip systems, sprinkler systems, and timers. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
