Landscape Technician The Preserve at Rivers Edge Condominiums Daytona Beach, FL 32114 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to lawn care, garden upkeep, and contributing to the overall aesthetic of our property. Duties Perform landscape care activities including mowing, edging, trimming, planting and watering as needed. Knowledge of safe use of riding mower, push mower, weed-wacker, pole saw, lopper and blower. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic mechanical upkeep. Includes other property tasks, such as trash removal, litter pick-up, raking, blowing building hallways, pressure washing, some janitorial, and general labor as needed. Qualifications Must have your own car, valid drivers license, and pass a criminal background check. Dependability, responsibility and honesty is a must. 2 month probation period.. Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping, such as pruners, shovels, and rakes. Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively. Attention to detail and safety practices, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina. 3 paid holidays per year, with PTO (paid time off) accrued at a rate of 1-hour per pay period.
