EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Performs general ground maintenance tasks using specialized golf courses and athletic field machinery.
Maintains the golf course, athletic fields, and various public parks by mowing, weeding, tilling, raking, digging and other ground related tasks.
Operates aerators, seeders and spreaders on the golf course, athletic fields, and various public parks. Top dresses turf areas on the golf course and athletic fieldsTrims trees and hedges and removes cuttings on the golf course and athletic fields.
Edges and blows cart paths and sidewalks at the golf course and athletic fields.
Repairs irrigation system on the golf course and athletic fieldsRakes leaves and removes debris on the golf course and athletic fields.
Cleans and maintains restrooms at the golf course and athletic facilities.
Performs litter control functions at the golf course and athletic fields.
Mows Greens, Tees, Fairways and Roughs as assigned on the golf course.
Edges, Trims and Rakes Bunkers on the golf courseChanges pins and moves tee markers at the golf course.
Cleans and services water coolers on the golf course.
Relocates and transports soccer goals, fencing and nets for various sporting events.
Prepares athletic fields for play such as: lining, raking, dragging, and leveling.
Mows baseball, softball, football fields and common areas at the athletic facilityCleans and organizes maintenance of building interior and exterior weekly.
Performs other maintenance related duties as assigned at the golf course and athletic facilities.
Assists with golf course and athletic fields projects as needed.
