Savannah, GA 31407 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the necessary skills to maintain and enhance the beauty of various landscapes. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to groundskeeping, including mowing, tree care, irrigation, and hardscaping. The Landscape Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities Operate hand tools and machinery for landscape maintenance, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing lawns, planting flowers, and maintaining flower beds. Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls (hardscape). Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal as necessary. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction with landscaping services. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred but not required. Proficiency in using hand tools and landscaping equipment. Knowledge of plant care, tree trimming techniques, and irrigation systems is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation between job sites.
