Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Slope/Robotics Mower Operator to join our team. This role involves operating remote-controlled or autonomous mowers across northeast Georgia on steep slopes, uneven terrain, and environmentally sensitive areas. The ideal candidate will have experience with slope mowing equipment and a strong understanding of robotics or remote-control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate robotic and/or remote-controlled slope mowers safely and efficiently Maintain and inspect equipment before and after use Navigate challenging terrain, including steep slopes and limited-access areas Monitor mower performance and troubleshoot minor technical issues Perform basic maintenance and assist with repairs as needed Ensure work is performed in accordance with company safety protocols and environmental guidelines Keep accurate daily logs of operations, equipment status, and site conditions Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate work activities
Qualifications:
Experience operating slope mowers or similar landscaping/heavy equipment Familiarity with robotic or remote-controlled mowing technology Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on physically demanding terrain Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in equipment operation or landscape maintenance Experience with commercial landscaping or erosion control Knowledge of GPS-guided or autonomous equipment systems
