Grounds and Building Maintenance In Bloom Landscaping Inc 2559 Walkers Chapel Rd, Roberta, GA 31078 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and Grounds and Facility Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You will be responsible for various tasks that ensure our grounds and facilities are well-kept and inviting. Duties Perform regular mowing and lawn care to maintain healthy grass and landscapes. Engage in tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics. Operate irrigation systems effectively to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Assist with projects, including building pathways, patios, retaining walls and other projects around the property. Utilize mechanical knowledge for the maintenance and repair of grounds and facility equipment. Dig holes for planting or other landscaping needs as required. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Perform general facility maintenance including changing air filters, light bulbs, painting and other duties. Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping or facility maintenance is preferred but not mandatory. Skills in tree trimming, irrigation systems, mowing, lawn care are desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance of landscaping equipment is beneficial. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to grounds and facility maintenance is essential. Experience with general handyman duties is beneficial but not required We service a children camp for underserved youth in the community. The customer requires that they complete a background check on all staff.
