Owner or Supervisor ⸻ Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscaper/Mower to perform lawn care and landscape maintenance across residential and/or commercial properties throughout South West Area of Atlanta, GA. This role requires the use of your own tools and equipment, including but not limited to lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision. ⸻
Essential Responsibilities:
Lawn Maintenance:
Mow, edge, and trim lawns to client specifications. Remove debris from lawns and paved surfaces using blowers or rakes. Apply weed control and fertilizer (as licensed or requested by client). Assess lawn conditions and recommend treatments when necessary.
Landscape Care:
Prune trees, bushes, and shrubs to maintain healthy growth and aesthetics. Plant or remove vegetation as needed. Mulch flower beds and garden areas. Maintain hardscapes and pathways (light cleaning or edging). Equipment Use (Owned by Contractor): Operate and maintain your own gas or electric-powered mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on your own tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
Client Interaction & Site Reporting:
Communicate with CEO or Supervisor regarding job status or landscape issues. Document work performed, materials used, and any notable issues (e.g., irrigation concerns, pest damage). Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor on all job sites. ⸻ Requirements Must own and maintain landscaping tools and equipment, including: Lawn mower (push or riding) String trimmer, blower, edger Hand tools (shovels, pruners, rakes, etc.) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in Georgia’s weather conditions. Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant maintenance. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Optional:
Pesticide application license (preferred for chemical treatments). ⸻ Compensation Pay is hourly or per project, depending on experience and scope of work.
