Position Summary:
The Senior Landscaper
- Construction is essential to supporting our crew leaders and ensuring efficient, on-time project completion.
Reporting to the Construction Crew Leader, the Senior Landscaper will focus on punctuality, reducing the workload of the crew leader, and learning the landscaping craft through on-the-job experience and training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Crew Leader to
Minimize Manual Work Hours Daily:
Actively seek tasks from the crew leader to support project efficiency.
Weekly:
Review progress with the crew leader, focusing on areas for improvement.
Monthly:
Evaluate performance with the crew leader to ensure contributions align with project goals. 2.
Maintain Reliability and Punctuality Daily:
Arrive at the shop at least 10 minutes early, prepared for the day.
Weekly:
Complete tasks reliably to build trust and support team goals.
Monthly:
Participate in attendance and performance reviews to reinforce reliability. 3.
Develop Craftsmanship and Improve Knowledge Daily:
Observe and learn job-specific techniques; ask questions to deepen understanding.
Weekly:
Seek feedback from the crew leader on areas to improve.
Monthly:
Meet with management to set growth goals and track skill development.
KPI Focus:
Minimize Crew Leader Manual Work Hours
- Provide reliable support to ensure the crew leader can focus on supervision. Show Up Early and Reliably
- Consistently demonstrate reliability through early arrivals and reliable attendance. Learn the Craft and Improve Knowledge
- Commit to ongoing learning and improvement in landscaping techniques.
