$23.8K – $28.5K a year 2 days ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Augusta Country Club is a beautiful family club and golf course located next door to Augusta National. The membership is proud of the staff that support their home away from home. It takes people with high standards, loyalty, and dedication to consistently provide all facet of this historic facility. This position is responsible for all mowing, edging, blowing of debris and pruning of all plant material within the clubs grounds including the halfway house and driving range. Will also plant grass, bushes, shrubs, trees, flowers and other plants at their proper depth and in a strategic pattern that is usually designed by Director of Grounds or Landscape Grounds Superintendent. They may also assist with installation of walkways, patios, outdoor lighting, sprinklers or other irrigation systems and decks. May also assist in sloping areas or hills, and water features like ponds or garden features.
PRE-REQUISITES
This person must be able to operate equipment safely and understand the intended use of that equipment. He/she must be in good physical condition and be willing to work outside in inclement weather. They are expected to train new employees on the proper use of mowing equipment that work on a seasonal basis. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
GENERAL CONDUCT
This person will practice safety at all times while working on the property. They shall also conduct themselves in a professional manner and present a positive image to members. Policies in the employee handbook should be adhered to at all times.
CLEAN IMPRESSION
The equipment operator is responsible for cleaning their equipment at the end of each day and parking it in the assigned space. They are expected to dress in a professional manner appropriate for the time of year.
WORK HOURS
40-hour work week, every other Saturday and Sunday morning until 10 am. Overtime available.
