The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various landscaping tasks that contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors. The Landscape Laborer will engage in a variety of activities including groundskeeping, landscape installation, and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. . Perform routine groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, and weeding. Install sod, mulch, pine straw, and plants for beautification of landscape spaces. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials on-site. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws. Experience with tractors for grading and landscape installation. . Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment. Ability to follow and complete daily work tasks in the field. Knowledge of gardening techniques including planting and pruning. Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping tasks such as blowers, trimmers, and chainsaws and commercial mowers Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
