Augusta, GA 30909 Job Summary The Landscape Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial properties. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and functional. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform mowing and lawn care to maintain healthy grass and landscapes. Build and install garden beds, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Provide tree care services, including tree trimming and removal as needed. Maintain landscape features by regularly checking for weeds, pests, and diseases. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various landscaping tasks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Skills Proficient in mowing techniques and lawn care practices. Experience in building garden structures and planting techniques. Familiarity with tree care practices, including trimming and maintenance. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance principles. Ability to effectively use hand tools for landscaping tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration. Attention to detail with the ability to recognize issues in landscape health.
